Working on an interesting video project

I’m currently working on a large promotional video project for a town centre in South Leeds. The plan is to produce a short feature on the town and surrounding areas. Incorporating interviews with local business people, residents and dignitaries as well as attractive shots of the local landscape.

This is quite an exciting project and I’m really looking forward to adding a filmic feel to the production. The plan is to give the feature some kind of narrative that the viewer can connect with. Trying to stay as far away from the usual cliched promotional video style as possible.

Most of today will be spent working on the concept and script for the video. I’m trying to incorporate an actor into the video to add a real life feel and narration, someone to help guide the viewer through and to underline all the fantastic things about the town centre.

If all goes according to plan I should be starting principle photography within three weeks.
