Shot on Super 16mm Film, back in September 2010

It’s been a marathon post-production process on Love Like Hers with lots of lessons learned. One of two short film I currently have in post (the other being Host). We’re nearing the finish line and I just can’t wait to get this film out there.

There are three main post-production processes that need to be finished, there’s the handful of visual effects shots, the sound mix and colour grading.

I’ve heard from each of the departments involved and it is very likely the film will be finished by the end of this month. This now pushes me to start preparations for the premiere screening event, to be held somewhere in Yorkshire. There is a real possibility that I’ll be showing BOTH my short films at this event. I may also be looking at showing other short films to make a real night of it.

Once Love Like Hers has been delivered, in its various formats, the next phase will be to select the handful of film festivals that I’ll be entering the film into. On completion of it’s festival run, the film will be made available to purchase.

To celebrate us getting closer to the post-production finish line on Love Like Hers, I’ve uploaded a never seen before behind the scenes video, shot by my good friend Christy DeHaven. Hope you like it!Also, if you scroll down the page you’ll see a selection of behind the scenes photo’s.

Pretty cool Danny. Behind the scenes certainly looks the part – let's hope the finished article does too!

Who are the crew and where did you get all the gear from?

    Hi Jonathan,

ProVision in Leeds did me the most amazing deal on all the kit, Fuji supplied the film. Check out the 'Meet The Crew' section on this site and you'll see a full list of the crew.

    Cheers

    Danny.
