It all started way back in 2009 when I decided to share my filmmaking journey via a weekly live show on Livestream.

At that time it was just a webcam and me sharing what I was going through as I was trying to get my first major short film made (Love Like Hers). Including a live 24 hour show that raised over £1,000 for the film.

As far as I know, I’m the first indie filmmaker in the World to host a regular show of this nature. The viewing figures grew quickly as word spread and we built quite a loyal following for each broadcast. It also became a hotbed of activity amongst other filmmakers in the chatroom.

To date there has been 25 episodes of the Live Filmmaker’s TV Show with over 280,000 viewer minutes on the Livestream Channel. The show has evolved significantly over the years and is now focused on live guests to help inspire other filmmaker’s.

However, Tuesday 30th August will see the last Live Filmmaker’s TV Show broadcast. This is all part of a re-focus of my workload. To help free up more time to make films. This means reducing my social media activity by 95% and finishing the live show.

So, I hope you’ll join me and special guests for what will be the last ever Live Filmmaker’s TV Show on Tuesday 30th August 2011 at 9pm UK time.

It’s going to be a great show, packed with film talk! Featuring:

    • Friend, Oscar shortlisted filmmaker and author Chris Jones.

    • One of the first viewers of the Live show and my stateside sisters, Kingisafink

    • Sheri Candler, independent film marketing and publicity, will be joining us to talk about her incredible new book.

    • We’re very pleased to announce that Elfar Adalsteins will be on the show talking about his short film Sailcloth (starring John Hurt) which has just won a major award at this years Rhode Island Film Festival.

    • and so much more!

Please do join us for what I’m sure will be an emotional final show.
